Stress Buster
Everyone experiences stress and anxiety. Stress is your body's instinctual and biological response to environmental stressors to ensure your survival and is a natural response to uncertainty. And, anxiety is a feeling of dread or uneasiness that can be a normal reaction to stress.
Engaging in mindful movement and breathing practices can help reduce stress and anxiety. These session help you to understand the biology behind your stress behaviour and can provide you with the tools you need to support your mental health, while reducing your physical tensions. Sessions are chair based and include standing stretches, attention training to calm an overactive mind, and international breathing practices, and ends with a short resting period. Please bring a small blanket or mat if you wish to rest on the floor.

Absolutely Abs
Designed to fit into your day, this 30-minute class will have you hitting all you mid-section muscles for a complete abdominal workout that will allow you to achieve noticeable results. This class focuses on strengthening the abs, glutes, and lower back.

Contemporary Dance
This class approaches contemporary dance as a framework for experiencing the body as a tool to think with. Suitable for all level of dancer, from raw beginner to professional. Students will learn foundational movement patterns and concepts, as a launching pad for being able to experience the body as a lively instrument capable of deep expressivity. Expect to get stronger, more sensitive, and more embodied as you dance in the company of students from a broad range of backgrounds.

Flow Hatha
Enjoy this accessible, customized approach to yoga connecting you with your core through flow and stillness as you strengthen and rediscover spaciousness in your body and mind. Each class moves you through the eight directional movements of your spine, incorporating breathing techniques and principles of yoga for a holistic and satisfying class.

Latin Dance
Everyone is welcome to this vibrant energy and positive class to experience diverse Latin rhythms, relieve stress, stay fit, and promote community wellness. Giovanny is a dancer and instructor from the north coast of Colombia where dance is embedded in their culture, and inspired by the Caribbean Sea, beautiful sunsets, and warm weather. In his dance classes, he strives to share this lively spirit, and to keep the warmth and joy of summer alive through the fall.

Shotokan Karate
If you have ever wanted to try Karate, this class is perfect for you. Karate can be described as a martial art, or fighting method, involving a variety of techniques. The practice strengthens the entire body, improves coordination, quickens reflexes, and builds stamina and overall health. In these sessions, participants establish a basic Karate knowledge while building confidence and discipline. Join because the practice is beneficial for both your physical and mental health. And with these instructors, you can expect to laugh!

Tai Chi - Beginners
Tai Chi is a form of exercise that involves slow, relaxed movement to enhance balance and well-being, and has applications for self-defense. The movements of Tai Chi are performed slowly to ensure good form and body dynamics promoting muscle and balance development but also "internal" massage. In this course, students will learn the basics of Tai Chi through silk-reeling warm-up exercises, the Wu/Ng/Yang 108 movement form as well as "moving hands" two person exercises. Each class will include a review, learning new movements, meditation, and applications. It is important to wear comfortable footwear and loose clothing.

This class will allow participants to continue on their journey of learning this ancient Chinese martial art. Providing opportunity to practice and improve form of learned sequences of movement while adding to their knowledge of self-defence, two person exercises, and more.

This class combines elements of the Vinyasa and Hatha styles. We link movement with breath and build stamina and focus by holding poses for longer periods than the usual flow class. In this 50-minute mindful yoga class, it will begin with gentle yoga to settle into the body, followed by Pranayama (breathing practices) to help quiet and steady the mind, finishing with a guided meditation. You will leave feeling grounded and with a sense of calm and balance in your body and mind.
