Get started
The Makerspace is your launchpad for skill-building and innovation, with access to 3D printing and laser cutting services, sewing and embroidery machines, a podcast studio, musical instruments and more. Stop by for a tour, reserve a workspace, or jump into a workshop and let’s make something amazing.
Use in the space
Drop-in to paint, collage, use our computers (design software), 3D Scanner, 3D pens, sewing and embroidery machines, VEX robotics kit, virtual reality headsets, piano, guitar, work tables and more. You can reserve space and equipment.

Design and create
Bring us your design ideas for 3D printing, laser engraving, or vinyl cutting and we’ll turn your vision into reality—one layer, line, or cut at a time. Provide a link to your file, share a bit about your design and we will get back to you with a quote.
Equipment for loan
We want you to be successful at your making and offer a variety of professional equipment to loan. This includes digital cameras - DSLR E0S, DSLR Accessories (Mic, Phone adaptors), GoPro Hero 12, Richo Theta 360 Camera, Gimbal - Osmo Mobile 6, Shure Microphone - MV7+, Tripod - Manfrotto, and USB Microphones - Yeti Nano.

- Campus life days pop-up: Explore hands-on making and tech in the Makerspace with the Camosun College Student Society, every third Wednesday of the month, from 10am to 2pm at the Lansdowne Campus (Wilna Thomas 216).
- Wellness Wednesdays: Counselling Services and the Makerspace are partnering to provide a safe space for students to connect with peers. Every second Wednesday of the month drop by the Makerspace from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Lansdowne Campus (Wilna Thomas 216).
