Evelynn's success transferring to university

Currently pursuing a double-major in Anthropology and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, Evelynn spent four semesters at Camosun in the University Transfer program.

"I liked being able to try out different classes to see which subjects I really liked (or didn’t) to help me figure out what I wanted to pursue academically. Being able to take a lot of the required first and second year courses at Camosun was incredibly helpful because the cost wasn’t as much as university. I had truly amazing instructors and with the smaller class sizes my instructors actually got to know me. I really loved my courses.

The quality of education I received at Camosun was phenomenal. I knew the cost of Camosun was less than at university but it was an equivalent education."

"I feel my education at Camosun really set me up to succeed."

- Evelynn O'Hara

"When I started at university I had no doubts that I would be able to follow along in my courses, thanks to the education I received at Camosun. Had I not had that, I’d be having a harder time."
