The Centre for Sport & Exercise Education  |  Story Centre for Sport and Exercise Education Giving

This year, CSEE, in partnership with the College Foundation, awarded just under $18,000 to more than 20 students.

We would also like to acknowledge that over 180 students were recognized on the Dean's honour roll during the past academic year as having achieved a GPA of 8.0 or higher in completing 9 or more college credits.

AET Clinic Award – Athletic & Exercise Therapy

Donated by Athletic and Exercise Therapy Clinic

Awarded to a student who has completed their 4th year of study in the Bachelor of Athletic & Exercise Therapy program and who has successfully completed clinical placement in the AET Clinic.

Aoi Hashimoto

CATA Student Leadership Award

Donated by Canadian Athletic Therapists Association

Awarded to a second-year (or higher) student in the Bachelor of Athletic & Exercise Therapy program who is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and a member of a designated regional chapter and has maintained their status.

CFUW Victoria – Doreen Sutherland Award in Sport & Exercise

Donated by the Canadian Federation of University Women, Victoria Chapter

In memory of long-time member Doreen Sutherland, the purpose of this gift is to encourage women to pursue careers in sport and exercise by providing an award to a woman-identifying student in good standing studying in any program offered by the Centre for Sport and Exercise Education.

Awarded to two CSEE students who have completed a minimum of two years of full-time study in the Bachelor of Sport Leadership, Bachelor of Kinesiology, or Bachelor of Athletic & Exercise Therapy programs who demonstrate their intent to pursue and/or maintain CSEP certification, or demonstrate past involvement with CSEP like activities, and/or articulate how CSEP certification will assist in their future endeavours.

 Awarded to a graduate of the Bachelor of Athletic & Exercise Therapy, the Bachelor of Kinesiology, or the Bachelor of Sport & Fitness Leadership program with the highest academic standing in the scientific portion of the curriculum.
